RAMS stands for risk assessments and method statements. Together they identify hazards, set out suitable controls and explain how a job will be carried out safely. They must match the actual work, site, people and equipment.
No. The HSE does not approve individual RAMS, method statements or risk assessments. A document is useful only when the duty holder checks it is suitable and sufficient, adapts it to the real job and makes sure its controls are followed.
You remain the employer, contractor, responsible person or other duty holder. SitePaper is a drafting tool, not a health and safety consultancy or legal adviser. You must review the document, involve competent people and implement the controls.
Yes. A £15 purchase includes 30 days of edits for the same job. Pro subscribers can create unlimited documents and duplicate a document as a starting point for the next job.
A paid document is available as both PDF and editable Word files. You can use the PDF for issue and records, and the Word version for any final business-specific formatting.
Yes. Documents are kept in your account, and purchased versions are archived as delivered for support and business records. Service data is stored on a UK-hosted VPS with our hosting provider.
Digital documents are supplied immediately, so the 14-day change-of-mind right ends once supply or download starts. If a document is faulty, contact us: we will try to fix or replace it and refund where the law requires.
Yes. Cancel before the next renewal and you will keep Pro access until the end of the paid month. We do not normally give partial-month refunds unless required by law.
Yes. Stripe emails a payment receipt and we email an order confirmation with your document link. SitePaper is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged and the receipt is not a VAT invoice.
SitePaper can be used across the UK, but legal details and regulator guidance can differ. Check that the document reflects the rules and enforcing authority for the place where the work happens, and obtain specialist advice when needed.
Anthropic AI is used only to tidy the wording of your work description. Names, company names and addresses are not sent to the AI. You still decide whether the final wording accurately describes the job.
Stop and use a suitably competent specialist where the job involves areas such as asbestos, confined spaces, gas or complex electrical work. SitePaper does not replace surveys, permits, registrations, training or specialist emergency arrangements.
Most straightforward drafts take only a few minutes once you have the job details. Allow extra time to inspect the site, consult workers, check client requirements and review every control before issuing the document.
Your authorised team can use the service for your business, subject to the account terms. Keep login details secure, control who may approve documents, and make sure a competent person reviews each draft before it is used.
